TITANIC
A Tribute
Lyrics to the song "The Sinking of the Titanic" or "It Was a Sad Day When the Great Ship Went Down". THANK YOU to Al Fennelly for providing me with these lyrics, as well as some original ones that he wrote!

I became fascinated with the Titanic prior to seeing the movie which was released in December, 1997, though I, like many people, was extremely fond of the movie, which was tastefully done and highly respectful of those who lost their lives on the Titanic. The purpose of the page is to provide information about the ship and the event rather than the movie, though some limited information about the movie is included at the end of the page. I just started this page, so it's rather bare right now.

Memorials
A large portion of my family lives in England, and some of them live in Southampton, the town from which Titanic set sail. On one of my trips to England (June 1998) I took some pictures of the Titanic Memorials in Southampton. These pictures do not do the memorials justice, but they will give people an idea what they look like.
