[In July 1955 Charles Thurber sent the following letter to my father, Arthur S. Thurber, Jr.]

July 1, 1955

Dear Rev Arthur S. Thurber.

I am sending you a picture of a Coat-of-Arms I had taken from one in the American Historical Society of New York. I had a film made and am sending one out to every one who has helped me get data. Also I have a man in England who is checking up on it for more information on it. I have some already.

Now you could have a film made from it if you wish and pass it on to your children and grandchildren. I will give you more details on it some day when I get more on it.

Also I am sending my own picture for you to keep.

Sincerely yours

Charles H. Thurber, Sr.
